What does the Pronghorn warranty cover?

We provide a 5-year warranty on frame manufacturing defects.

We provide a 2-year component warranty.

In other words, we cover defects and deficiencies caused by manufacturing errors on the frame or the component in question.

Our frame warranty is only valid for the bike's first owner and only covers normal use.

Our waranty does not cover defects and deficiencies caused by:

  • Crash
  • Collision
  • Wear
  • Incorrect use before, during or after riding the bike
  • Using the bike in a manner that the particular type of bike is not intended for
  • Transport damage
  • Inadequate bearing maintenance (MTB Fully only)

We recommend taking out a comprehensive insurance (Kasko) to protect you from costs in relation accidents.

Therefore, our warranty does not cover wear parts such as.

  • Tyres
  • Chains
  • Jockey wheels
  • Cables
  • Brake pads
  • Bearings
  • Inner tubes

How does our warranty work?

Our warranty can be put into effect in several ways:

  1. The defect is repairable: Correcting the error by reparing the frame or replacing components.
  2. The defect is not repairable: Replacing the frame or component with a completely new and corresponding frame or component.
  3. The defect is not repairable but a new component is discontinued or out of stock: Price reduction or upgrade of the faulty component with - or without - charge.
  4. Crash replacement: Discount on new components and frame if you suffered a crash and need to get your bike ready to go again. The discount is progressive and is set by Pronghorn.
